About the Event

Hampshire Wick understands the significance of Baby Loss Awareness Week—a time for individuals within the baby loss community and beyond to come together, honour the memories of deeply missed babies, and raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss.

This special workshop is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a child or miscarriage. It provides a meaningful space to honour your little one while fostering connection, understanding, and support among those who share similar experiences.

During this two-hour workshop, you will create your own luxury scented soy wax candle, worth £19.50 and with a burn time of 45 hours. This candle can be a personal tribute to your baby and, if you wish, can even be named after them. Once completed, your candle will be ready to burn during the Wave of Light to honour your little one’s memory.

This workshop also offers the opportunity to share stories, experiences, and memories in a safe and understanding environment—though there is no pressure to do so unless you feel comfortable.
